Grand Teton Lodge Company Donates to Grand Teton National Park Foundation

The Wyoming Lodging and Restaurant Association sincerely thanks Grand Teton Lodge Company for graciously donating $50.00 per room night from last week’s Fall Hospitality and Tourism Summit to the Grand Teton National Park Foundation.  In celebration of the National Park Service Centennial, GTLC’s generous donation totaled $10,000.00. Please join us in thanking one of our long standing members for their thoughtful and impactful contribution to one of Wyoming’s most beautiful and important natural assets.

7th Annual Golf Classic is Biggest Yet!

The 7th annual WLRA Golf Classic took place last week at the beautiful Jackson Hole

Golf and Tennis Club with a record 94 participants. The cooler and sometimes wet weather could not dampen the enthusiasm of our generous attendees.

Congress Considers Business Friendly ADA Legislation

Over the past year, AH&LA, the WLRA and a coalition of business organizations have been working with members of Congress to address the growing trend of “drive by lawsuits” aimed at the hotel industry and other businesses under title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Thousands of businesses across the country have been targeted by a “cottage industry” made up of attorneys and plaintiffs who have filed lawsuits or demand letters based on minor, easily correctable ADA infractions.
