The WLRA is the most effective advocate and the strongest resource provider for the hospitality and tourism industry in Wyoming. One of the most valued aspects is the WLRA Allied Partnership Program. This vital program keeps our members in touch with the many suppliers operating in our industry and helps them connect with companies that support their businesses’ mission and goals. Below you will find information on the levels of involvement in the Allied Partnership Program:
WLRA Membership Lists - By joining the WLRA you are investing in the only group representing, protecting and supporting the hospitality industry in Wyoming. As a member, you will receive our monthly Enewsletter so that you can stay on top of what is happening in our industry. The content will help you relate to, connect with and expand your customer base. The WLRA maintains a comprehensive contact list of our members that you will have access to at any time throughout the year. Please note that we do not share their email addresses. You will have access to our significant knowledge base and can think of us as an extension of your staff whenever you have industry related questions or need help.
Online Buyer’s Guide - Open to members and non-members, this industry specific guide is WLRA branded which adds credibility to your business because you are advertising under a brand that your customers trust. Members use this tool to find suppliers that support their trade association and mission to ensure the hospitality industry remains strong. This guide will enhance your search engine optimization and help your rankings on Google, Yahoo, Bing, etc. Your listing is customizable and can be update at any time. The WLRA promotes the Buyer’s Guide to its members, which is targeted advertising to an audience who is already looking for your products and services.
WLRA Enewsletter - The WLRA Enewsletter reaches nearly 1,000 industry contacts. Articles in the Enewsletter cover up to date industry news, trends, best practices, marketing ideas, government affairs and the current “need to know” information on Wyoming’s hospitality and tourism industry
Wyoming Governor’s Hospitality and Tourism Conference -
Wyoming’s premier hospitality and tourism conference will be held on February 26-27, 2018 at Little America in Cheyenne, Wyoming. This incredible conference is attended annually by over 350 industry representatives and has grown into a “must attend” event dedicated to celebrating and educating Wyoming’s second largest industry. You will have the opportunity to meet and network with industry leaders and buyers from across the state. Your involvement not only provides you an opportunity to engage more deeply with your customers, but also reinforces your desire to insure that Wyoming’s strong hospitality and tourism industry is sustained. There are opportunities to exhibit and sponsor events, aimed at networking and raising your visibility with the industry. The trade show is a dynamic marketplace held in the middle of all the action, taking place in the grand ballroom where all of the major meal events and legislative reception are held.
Wyoming Hospitality and Tourism Fall Summit -
Our annual Fall Hospitality and Tourism Summit will be held in Laramie, Wyoming in 2018. The summit assists businesses in gaining a better understanding of the current legislative issues and how they can better advocate for their industry. This event also provides attendees an opportunity to learn and share marketing and operational best practices. There is not a full trade show during this event, but sponsors are provided a table outside of the meeting rooms to display information and products.
