WYOMING HOSPITALITY & TOURISM - 2010 FALL SUMMIT

Holiday Inn
Cody, WY

October 11 - 12, 2010

The purpose of the Fall Hospitality and Tourism Summit is to assist hospitality and tourism businesses and organizations to better advocate for their industry and to share marketing and business operation best practices. Co-sponsored by the Wyoming Lodging and Restaurant Association and the Wyoming Travel Industry Coalition, the meeting is for operators of hotels, restaurants, campgrounds, dude ranches, bed and breakfasts, lodging tax boards and all related tourism businesses.

This year’s meeting, held in Cody, includes:

  • An in-depth roundtable with the Wyoming Department of Revenue about sales tax collections rules, regulations and proposed changes to those rules.

  • Input from you on issues for the next legislative session in January 2011

  • Update from the Wyoming Travel & Tourism office

  • How you can help with programs educating and training high schools and colleges for careers in hospitality and tourism.

  • Participate in board meetings of both sponsoring organizations

  • Experience Cody, Wyoming and perhaps take a side trip to Yellowstone.
